SUMMARY:Kick-off Meeting of CIGRE West Africa Study Committees
DESCRIPTION:The kick-off meeting of the CIGRE WA Study Committees aims to present the objectives\, roles and responsibilities of the different study committees\, as well as the members who are part of them. The participants will also discuss the subjects that will be dealt with in each study committee\, as well as the working methods and collaboration between the members. \n \nThe main objective of this meeting is therefore to set up an effective working structure for the CIGRE WA Study Committees\, in order to facilitate the exchange of information\, analyzes and debates on specific subjects related to the power industry. \nThe participants in the kick-off meeting of the CIGRE AO Study Committees will have to accomplish\, among others\, the following tasks: \n\nPresent and discuss the objectives\, roles and responsibilities of CIGRE WA Study Committees.\nIdentify the subjects that will be dealt with in each study committee\, as well as the methods of work and collaboration between the members.\nDiscuss the challenges and opportunities for each study committee\, as well as strategies to overcome them.\nExchange information on recent developments in the electric power industry\, which may be relevant to the subjects dealt with by the study committees.\nEstablish a work schedule for each study committee\, defining the dates of meetings\, deadlines for the presentation of reports and other activities.\nIdentify the responsibilities of each member of the various study committees\, ensuring their active participation and their contribution to the achievement of the objectives of each committee.\nEstablish an action plan for the implementation of the results of the work of the study committees\, which may include the publication of technical reports\, recommendations and studies.\n\nThe meeting is chaired by the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the WAPP Executive Board and the WAPP Secretary General.
